EQUAL SOUND IS PROUD TO FISCALLY SPONSOR:

COMPLETED PROJECT!

Building the Chase Bliss Blooper

Chase Bliss Audio is building a new pedal for creative electronic music and looping called The Blooper. This is going to enable all sorts of artists to do all sorts of the things that Equal Sound's mission supports. Trouble is that to break even the pedal has to have a $500 price tag. That's tough for artists, so Equal Sound is throwing in our 501c3 weight to help get these wonderful creative machines into musicians' hands.

Chase Bliss Blooper

Campaign complete! We raised over $4k!

Chase Bliss Audio is building a new pedal for creative electronic music and looping called The Blooper. This is going to enable all sorts of artists to do all sorts of the things that Equal Sound’s mission supports.

Trouble is, in order to get this pedal, which will have a $500 price tag, into the hands of artists who want to use it and can’t afford to, Chase Bliss Audio has had to run a Kickstarter. The reaction has been great thus far, but they’d like to give access to the pedal to more musicians, especially those on tighter budgets.

This is where Equal Sound steps in. Chase Bliss got the idea to run a raffle for the pedal for smaller donations, but isn’t allowed to run a raffle because they are

a) not a 501c3
b) it’s a violation of Kickstarter’s terms of service.

BUT WE ARE AND CAN!

And with us, it’s not even a raffle, it’s straight up in line with our mission that some fancy lawyers helped us write to be very board so we can support all sorts of musicians in all sorts of circumstances. And we’re going to be crazy transparent about the whole thing.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You, an artist or musician or other person who wants to do something creative, makes a donation to Equal Sound in the amount of $10. VIA THIS PAGE ONLY. You’ll receive a receipt for your donation, so you can deduct it from your taxes.
  2. This allows Equal Sound to buy a Blooper once we raise enough money ($500), or multiple Bloopers at multiples of $500.
  3. We select one (or more!) of the donor/musicians to this project to pay to make music with a Blooper, thus furthering Equal Sound’s mission.
  4. The payment will be one Blooper.

To continue, just click that donation button above. If you’d like to do this multiple times, go right ahead.

Any questions? Use the contact form on the site.

We’ll announce what musicians we will support with a Blooper once Chase Bliss’s Kickstarter ends.

Donations to projects fiscally sponsored by Equal Sound are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
